Research Awards Announced

Thirty-eight Sam Houston State University faculty members have received Research Enhancement Awards totaling $180,000.

The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs announced that each of 36 funded projects will receive $5,000. Two of the projects have joint researchers.

Those receiving awards were:

Peter Donahue, Brian Sailer, John Trombold, Ruth Cox, Douglas Kline, Judy Muller-Delp, Sanjay Mehta and P. Krishnamurthy, Gregg Cantrell, Melinda Miller, Douglas Constance, Fred Lunenburg, Rick White, Tye Barber, Patrick J. Van Fleet, Victor Sower, Benny Arney, Jr. and Mary Alice Conroy.

Also, Russell Palma, Gan Liang, Thomas Soare, Chris Buttram, William Kilbourne, Rick Bruhn and Terry Bilhartz, Furjen Denq, Barry Friedman, David Donnelly, James Bexley, Mark Leipnik, Thomas Chasteen, Katharine Gillespie, Wasin So, Dennis Netoff, David Bailey, Brian Cooper, Joe Thomas and Shirley Tucker.
