'Saints and Sinners'

SHSU presents a night (or two) at the opera

The heroes and villains of the opera world will be in the spotlight March 6 and 7 when the SHSU music department presents "Saints and Sinners," two evenings of operatic vignettes at the AB3 Dance Theater.

The opera workshops, slated for 7:30 p.m., will be conducted by Mary Kay Lake, director of operatic studies at SHSU.

On both evenings the musical menu will feature scenes from five famous operas:

The Dance Theater is located in Academic Building 3, next to the Estill Building parking area on 20th Street. Admission is free for SHSU students and Friends of Music pass holders and $5 for the general public. For ticket information contact the SHSU music department at (409) 294-1360.
