SHSU To Host Summer Camps

It won’t just be hardworking students diligently studying and attending class on campus come June, because during the summer, Sam Houston State University will also hold several summer camps to entertain and educate many different personalities.
The following camps will be overnight camps:
Music camps for full band, orchestra, piano, drumline and choir will be offered, as well as leadership camps for drum majors, new marchers and percussion. The National Cheerleading Association and the National Dance Association will also hold five overnight summer camps running from June 6 to July 21. For more information, visit www.nca.varsity.com and www.nda.varsity.com or call 800.527.4422.
The SHSU athletics department will help students hone their skills on the courts, fields and tracks with camps focusing on football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, softball and track.
