Activities in observance of National Breast Cancer Month at Sam Houston State University will conclude on Saturday (Oct. 29), with the Bearkat football game against Lamar University at 2 p.m. in Bowers Stadium.

SHSU faculty, staff, students and alumni, or members of their immediate families who are survivors of breast cancer and those currently battling the disease will be recognized on the football field before the game begins.

Students and employees have access to one free general admission ticket per game with an SHSU ID. All others may purchase general admission tickets for $15 each at gobearkats.com or by calling the Athletics Ticket Office at 936.294.1729.

Those who would like to participate in the recognition should contact Julia May, ext. 41837 or jmay@shsu.edu for additional information.
