Sam Houston State Men's Basketball
To Host Home Playoff Game

The top four seeds in the final regular season SLC standings will host seeds 5-8 (with #1 playing #8, #2 playing #7, #3 playing #6, and #4 playing #5). First round winners will advance to the tournament semifinals to be played in Shreveport, LA, at The Gold Dome on Thursday, March 9.

The winner of the tournament finals, which also will be played in Shreveport at 12 noon Saturday, March 11 (and televised nationally on ESPN2 Cable), will earn the SLC's NCAA playoff berth.

Tickets for the Bearkats' home playoff game March 7 will be $7 for Bearkat Partners, SHSU faculty and staff, and other adults/$5 for SHSU students. Since this game is a Southland Conference post-season playoff game, there will be no free admissions.

Game time will be 7:30 p.m. if the game is a single game. If the Sam Houston State women finish among the top four seeds, the game will be a doubleheader with the women tipping off at 6 p.m. and the men at 8 p.m.
