"This event has become one of the most successful cultural functions on campus and attracts over 200 guests including administrators, faculty, staff and students," said Gaurav Dalal.

"The evening features exquisite food, exciting entertainment and presentations," he added. Tickets are $10 each for the general public.

The Indian Students Association is a registered student organization at Sam Houston State University.

"Our goal is to uphold and share the rich heritage of India through cultural, intellectual, social, athletic, and community service activities," said Dalal.

"Since its formation in 2000, the organization has promoted various events to showcase the diverse culture of India among the SHSU and Huntsville community members," he said. "In addition, these events allow the students of Indian origin to unite and poundly display the Indian traditions."
