Beneficial Texas Donates $2,000
to College of Business Administration

Beneficial, a division of Household International, has donated $2,000 to the College of Business Administration at Sam Houston State University.

The gift was made in accordance with Household's "Support of Higher Education" program and is for building and maintaining the relationship between Beneficial and the College of Business Administration.

"Beneficial regularly attends our business career fairs and has provided several job opportunities to our students over the years," said R. Dean Lewis, dean of the College of Business Administration.

"We are thankful for Beneficial's support and will do all we can to enhance their ability to meet their staffing needs in the Houston area and throughout Texas," he continued. "Beneficial's gift is gratefully accepted and deeply appreciated."

Beneficial is a subsidiary of Household International, a leading provider of consumer loan, credit card, automobile finance and credit insurance products in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada.

Household's "Support of Higher Education" program began in 1956, and annually distributes more than $450,000 to colleges and universities across the nation.
