State Employee Charitable Campaign Kicks Off

Chapman, Murff, Gaertner

At a breakfast in Austin Hall, Brian Chapman (left) was awarded a certificate by Karon Murff to recognize the College of Arts and Sciences for raising the most money in last year's State Employee Charitable Campaign. SHSU President James Gaertner was a special guest at the event.

The 2003 State Employee Charitable Campaign got underway Sept. 24 with a breakfast in which the College of Arts and Sciences was recognized for making the most contributions in last year's campaign.

Dean Brian Chapman received a certificate acknowleging the achievement from campaign chair Karon Murff.

All SHSU employees should soon receive a charitable campaign contribution form and a copy of the Donation Directory for this year's campaign.

For additional information, contact one of the SHSU committee members: Karon Murff, chair (Internal Auditor's Office); Maggie Babcock (President's Office); Kelly Bielowicz (Internal Auditor's Office); Frank Parker (Dean of Students' Office); or Emmette Jackson (School of Public Communication).
