The 2004 State Employee Charitable Campaign kicked off Aug.
31, with Sam Houston Memorial Museum director Patrick Nolan
receiving recognition for making the largest contribution
in last year’s campaign.
Nolan was given a plaque and a Bluebonnet Circle lapel pin
for being one of only two in the Texas Pine Belt region to
contribute in the category. The Bluebonnet Circle category
is designated for those who give between $2,500 and $4,999.
All SHSU employees have received, or should soon receive,
a charitable campaign contribution form and a copy of the
Donation Directory for this year’s campaign.
The campaign will end on Sept. 24, and all completed forms
and pledges can be sent to John Holcombe, co-chair and professor
of political science, at Box 2149, SHSU.
For additional information, contact one of the SHSU committee
members: Holcombe or Laverne Warner, co-chair and professor
of early childhood education.
