Professor Contributes To Recently-Released Report

A report developed at a conference attended by SHSU radio/television professor Tony DeMars is now available online.

The results from the conference, “A Wake Up Call: Can Trust and Quality Improve Journalism?,” can be accessed, complete with downloadable transcripts, mp3 audio files, photos and videos, at http://www.restoringthetrust.org/final_report.shtml. It was released Nov. 15.

The report was taken from the discussions of more than 100 academics and journalists who attended the event in San Antonio earlier this year.

The conference preceded the annual AEJMC convention in San Antonio and was funded in part by the Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation.
