SHSU Wins Commissioner's Cup for Second Year in a Row

Sam Houston State University athletic teams have won the Southland Conference Commissioner's Cup, representing the best all-around record in the year's Southland Conference competition, for the second year in a row. Bobby Williams, SHSU athletic director, holds last year's and this year's trophies. Williams is also proud of the classroom performance of the SHSU athletes, who had the highest grade point average of all Southland schools each of the past four semesters. See Paul Ridings' story.
