SHSU Update for Week of March 9
The Teacher Job Fair which was originally scheduled for Wednesday
(March 12) has been re-scheduled for April 15.
The event will still be held in the Bernard Johnson Coliseum, but the time has
been changed to 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

SHSU will hold a public auction of surplus items on Saturday, April 5 at 8:30
a.m.
The auction will take place at the property warehouse located in the Sam South
Complex, 2424 Sam Houston Ave., in Huntsville. Items will be available
for inspection from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. the day of the sale.
Items will be sold piece by piece or in lots to the highest bidder. All
items will be sold "as is, where is."
Some of the merchandise includes office furniture, appliances, playground equipment,
televisions, books, exercise equipment, and vehicles ranging from model years
1991 to 1980. Vehicles can be removed the day of the sale if paid by cash
of check with an original current bank letter of credit guaranteeing payment. Otherwise,
the vehicles will be held
for ten working days to allow the check to clear.
The warehouse will shut down on March 19 to prepare for the auction. University
departments will not be able to move articles in or out of the warehouse after
that date until the auction is over.
For more information call Wayne Frosch at 936.294.1903 or 936.294.1908.
